Anne Combrinck

Adventure Co-Ordinator

My love of yoga started as a small child as both my parents went to yoga classes. After school while studying chemistry, yoga helped by keeping me healthy and relaxed. After 16 years, the research world of chemistry and part-time yoga was exchanged for a full-time life of sharing yoga with others, and later training new yoga teachers and yoga therapists.

Today I am still passionate about doing yoga, sharing yoga and researching yoga! I do my best to incorporate all aspects of yoga into my life-style. I believe that everyone is growing and doing their best and yoga can help them with that - as in the words of Albert Einstein "There is nothing known as "Perfect". Its only those imperfections which we choose not to see!"

Adventure Guide

After spending 15 years as a Corporate Consultant - I decided to re-model my life in 1991. Yoga was the answer! What are most important pieces of equipment you need for doing yoga? Only your body and your mind.

Teaching Yoga for me is very rewarding and it keeps me balanced on a daily basis. I love to see the transformation in my students after some time in their yoga practice. Yoga is for all - old and young! One of my favourite yoga quotes is by BKS Iyengar - a great yogi: "Yoga teaches us to cure what need not be endured and endure what cannot be cured.”

My other interest are educating people about the benefits of laughter and sharing the laughter with diverse groups.
